On behalf of the 3rd Marine Division - Tactical Realism Unit (Alpha Co, 1st BN / 3rd MAR, 3rd MAR DIV) I would like to thank you for your invitation to this event.
At this current time I do not believe that that engaging in the activities here is in the best interest of our unit, and our notice was also to short to give us enough time to make a full assessment. We will never just jump into thinks that are organized openly to the public. Normally we establish a good working relationship with groups we get involved with in game. An example is our relationship with another well known unit the 506th. Also with the fact that individuals from these other groups may be in positions to have authority as commanders and the powers (from what I read) to set their own standards may create issues with our unit, especially given our strong command structure. This is more of the issue of not knowing these individuals in these positions before getting involved.
Not having time to look over this community we cannot know the standards of this community and other clans/units involved and it would be inappropriate for us to get involved at that level. Upon review of your community organization and layout I have also determined that we would never be able to participate as you have events scheduled for a 2 hour time frame starting at 1230hrs -8GMT (1530hrs -5GMT) as per your post stating 2030hrs GMT. All of our members are currently in North America so these times present a major challenge or impossibility on a week day.
We like the idea and the goals that have been set-out by this community, and I will look into things later in the future. Just at this time we do not feel involvement would be in the best interest of the 3rd Marine Division.

Hi Alderman
Thanks for reply and interest
I understand your points, and about forming the sides it is goal of ATC having two good alliances on both sides, it is clear that the teams within a faction needs to coordinate and for this is necessary they know each other and they need to have a strong command structure
It is not easy I understand but this is the challenge of ATC that is not something were ppl drop to play into a server, that's why we call war simulator
Of course the main challenge is to coordinate well with allies
About the timezone issues this is a problem I admit, unfortunately it is not easy to solve
So thank you and I hope to see you and your unit in a close future
